Delete Pages From a PDF

Remove specific pages — a blank cover, a duplicate scan, an unwanted section — and keep everything else, processed locally in your browser.

Remove pages without touching the rest

Unlike Split, which keeps only the pages you name, this tool works the opposite way: you tell it which pages to remove, and it keeps everything else. That's the more natural fit when you just want to drop a blank page, a duplicate scan, or a section you no longer need, without having to list out every page you want to keep.

Upload your PDF and the tool shows you the total page count, so you know exactly what range you're working with. Type the pages to delete using the same simple format as Split — for example “2, 4-6” removes page 2 plus pages 4 through 6 — and a new PDF is built from the remaining pages using pdf-lib, entirely in your browser.

As with every tool here, your original file is never modified or uploaded; the new, shorter PDF is assembled locally and downloaded separately, leaving your source document untouched.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between Delete Pages and Split PDF?

Split PDF keeps only the pages you list; Delete Pages removes the pages you list and keeps everything else. Use Delete Pages when it's easier to name the few pages you don't want, and Split when it's easier to name the few pages you do want.

Can I delete every page in the PDF?

No — the tool requires at least one page to remain, since a PDF with zero pages isn't a valid document. If you want to remove all but one page, list every other page number to delete.

Does deleting pages affect the quality of the remaining pages?

No. The remaining pages are copied exactly as they were in the original file using pdf-lib — nothing is re-rendered or compressed, so text and image quality stay identical.

Is my original file changed after I delete pages?

No, your original PDF stays exactly as it was. The tool builds a brand-new PDF containing only the pages you kept and downloads that as a separate file.
